The Messengers: Summer Tour 2025 – We Swear We Were Gonna Slow Down...

Well, well, well… look who’s finally blogging again. It’s us, your favorite overbooked, under-rested, and questionably hydrated band, The Messengers! It’s been, oh… two years since our last blog? Oops. But hey, we’ve been busy doing what we do best—playing music and making questionable life choices when it comes to our summer schedule.

Every year, we tell ourselves, "Let's take it easy this summer. Fewer shows. More naps." And then what happens? Festivals, Party in the Park events, and gigs from Naperville to Racine to Oconomowoc magically appear on our calendar like that one friend who says, "I’m just stopping by for one drink."

So, what’s on the agenda? Just a casual lineup that includes Lombard, Itasca, DeKalb, the Chicago Botanic Garden (because we like to keep it classy sometimes), the Wisconsin State Fair, and a whole bunch of other places in between. If there's an open patch of grass and a power outlet, odds are we’re playing there this summer.

And in case you were wondering—yes, The Messengers are still the same original members. Fourteen years in, and we haven’t killed each other yet! That’s longer than most celebrity marriages, so we’re pretty proud.

We’d love to see you at a show this summer! Come say hi, request your favorite song, and maybe bring us a snack (seriously, we’re always hungry). Until then, we’ll be fine-tuning our setlist, stretching before gigs like responsible adults, and trying to remember why we thought booking this many shows was a good idea.
